Dear Blackstone residents,
Hope everyone is enjoying the lazy days of summer. The board would like to remind you of the following rules:
1. Speed limits: The speed limits are posted everywhere and need to be followed. A lot of residents are complaining about young drivers speeding within the community. It is extremely dangerous and would be reported to the cops if it gets out of hand. Please ensure to follow the limits.
This rule also applies to children on bikes, electric or otherwise. Please ask them to be safe and supervise young children.
2. Dog walking: It has been observed that residents sometimes walk their dogs on the road. This is dangerous since we have a lot of blind curves on Cavendish Place. While on this topic, please ensure the following:
- Pickup after your dogs. We have seen dog poop left on the sidewalks.
- Keep your dogs on leash.
3. Trash cans: We have 2 companies picking up trash on different days. Unfortunately residents are not putting away the trash cans, once the trash is picked up. This is a bigger issue on the Cavendish Place. We are a community with 250+ households and hundreds of cars using the main roads every day. Please be on top of this issue.
4. Renting a clubhouse: We see a lot of queries around this process. You need to login to Blackstonehoa.com and follow the process to rent the clubhouse. If you do not have a login, please send a request to the board and it will be created.
5. Key fob: If you need a key fob, please send a request to the board and someone will help you.
